#NEIGHBOURHOODSTORIES

I N S I G H T

City hotels all around the world often have

a feeling of anonymity, because they are
transient places

Guests may know the tourist attractions
and other places of interest, but they don’t
really connect with the locals and they
most certainly don’t know their stories

Give Hotel Indigo Berlin – Ku’damm a local
face through NeighbourhoodStories

Give interested guests a chance to glance
behind the scenes, capturing unique
neighbourhood views

Tell real and authentic stories, by real
people in real places, with the help of
photographs

NeighbourhoodStories are as unique as
Hotel Indigo’s locations – no two properties
are the same

In every room of Hotel Indigo Berlin –
Ku’damm there is a large scale photographic print of a view from the hotel, with it’s own NeighbourhoodStory

Guests find a clue card next to their bed: »Psssst. There is a secret story for you.
Take a look at the photographic print on
the wall.«

The submitted photographs have been
taken from the executive rooms on the 6th floor of Hotel Indigo Berlin – Ku’damm

A QR code (here a dummy version) is hidden in each of these photos

Interested guests can scan the QR code with their smartphones and read or listen to an exclusive NeighbourhoodStory told by a local living or working in the depicted
building

This neighbour talks about who they are,
what their everyday life is like, what’s so
special about that place and reveals their
favourite spots in Berlin Ku’damm

Under #neighbourhoodstories Hotel
Indigo travellers can share their own
NeighbourhoodStories on social media

It’s slowly getting dark outside. The sun’s hiding behind the Berlin skyline. You’ve just checked into your hotel, dropped your bags and opened your window to take in the view of Ku’damm. In the distance you glimpse some brightly lit windows, wondering who might live there. Who calls this place home? What do they do? What’s it like to live in this neighbourhood? … The story begins
